Our IOCL power strips provide outlet level metering, outlet control and circuit metering.  They feature an easy-to-read local LCD display for power draw by circuit.  An Ethernet connection allows the power strip to be connected to the network for remote monitoring and control.  Two ports are provided to attach environmental sensors including temperature and humidity.

Measuring the consumption at the outlet level allows for monitoring the power draw for each connected device.  This can be beneficial in balancing the power load and isolating inefficient hardware.  It can also be used to measure exact power draw for each company or department in a collocated server cabinet.

The ability to remotely turn on or off a receptacle allows for rebooting a stalled server from any network location.  It can enhance power management by only activating approved outlets as needed.
